Kayla Phillips

Kayla Phillips is an Investment Principal at Hivemind, focusing on early stage venture investments and based in NYC. Prior to Hivemind, she worked as a crypto and generalist VC for several firms, including Truffle Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and White Star Capital. Kayla also previously co-founded a consumer tech startup and helped launch the Citi Impact Fund, where she met Matt. She has a background in corporate innovation consulting, digital media, and entertainment – experiences that have shaped her perspective on successfully launching and scaling new technologies and brands. She holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Finance from Virginia Tech
